Welcome to my first installment of "Things Edward Would Never Say"

As I'm sure many of you have, while reading the Twilight series, I began to compare my hubby to Edward(poor bastard never had a chance). I fell in love with the way Edward talked to Bella. The way he loved her. The way he protected her. She was his life. She was everything to him. But all I had to do was put the book down, and the shock of reality would inevitably hit me like a ton of bricks. I was not married to Edward. I was married to MH and he would never be Edward no matter how hard I wished. And all I had to do was talk to him for any length of time and I would be reminded of that hard, cold fact. And I began to take notice of things MH would say. And the things that stood out the most, were the things that Edward would never say. And so we begin....

ME: I think I'm going to lay down
MH: Good idea. I thing I will too.

Silence for a while.......

MH: Do you want to hold my ballsack in your hand while you rest?

More silence.....

ME: Hmmmm.....no, I think I'll pass.
